One of the most important items needed for a successful painting featuring your horse or those of others is a set of good photographs. The photos must not be copyrighted or permission to use them must be obtained. Lynne uses these pictures to capture conformation, color, size, expression, personality, and pose in her painting. Photos taken in sunlight are the best for providing detail and coloration.

You may supply the photos, have them taken, or request Lynne to take them. If Lynne takes the photos, she will require consideration for her time and travel expenses.

Of course you may wish to give Lynne a general idea of what you are looking for and then let her imagination and creativity run free to create your painting.

After agreeing upon what you want, Lynne will go to work. When the painting is nearly complete she will send you a photograph on the internet or through the mail for your review. When you agree on the final details, she will complete your painting and provide a photograph of the work for your approval. Upon your approval she will ship the painting to you.

If after your receipt of the painting you are not delighted, send it back and discuss it with Lynne. She will do whatever she can to make it right for you. If you are not satisfied at this point, return the painting and your money will be refunded. Travel expenses will not be refundable, but you will receive a complete set of the photographs taken.

Commission prices start at $3000.00. One third of this amount is payable up front. One third is payable upon your approval. The final third is payable within 30 days of receipt of the painting. Consideration for travel time and expenses is payable within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.

Lynne will retain all rights to the images she creates, but will work with you if you wish to use the image for commercial or other purposes.
